TAGAKAULO TRIBE
TAGAKAULO is one of the tribe existing in land of Mindanao. Taga means "living" while Kaulo means top. They were called "Tagakaulo" because they lived in the sources of water in the top of the mountains. TAGAKAULO are people living in the top of mountain. Their habitat is found in the province of Davao Del Sur, particularly in Malalag, Sta. Maria, Malita Davao del Sur, Sarangani Province and other part of South Cotabato. But long originally they where the tribe living beside the West of Davao gulf and from the South of Mouth Apo, because of the colonization they remove and went to the top of the mountain.
